Customers can now send photographs using PrisonPaper.com!
We received many requests to allow customers to send photographs through the website. You asked for it and you got it! You can now send a photograph for 99 Cents. This includes professional printing of all photographs. The 99 cents also includes all postage and shipping. You don't have to drive to the local drugstore and you don't have to print your own pictures using expensive printer cartridges. Keep the suggestions coming....we will continue to do everything necessary to satisfy our customers! Jason Sicore Manager, PrisonPaper.com Establishing Friendships, Preserving Relationships. |

Hubby says when he gets the photos, there is nothing else inside the envelope at all to say where it came from. Would it be possible to include a comp slip?

Sometimes my friend sends me photos that his sister found and sent him or if he does something good and they take pictures there, they give him 2 copies. He asks me to make copies and send it back to him so he can send his dad and mom and sisters. The last time I did this for him, I used the photo upload here. It worked great. The only problem was it only allows you to do it once. I needed 5 copies of the picture. I had to upload it 5 times. Is there a way you could add a little box that allows you to have the picture copied more then once instead of having to upload it again?

How about also getting a better deal if you purchase more than one photograph? 99 cents per photo can be very expensive. I know it includes a stamp, but I know you can send up to 5 pictures per envelope without going over one stamp.

I tried it and I mailed a photo in with his supply list, just as an added bonus...

I sent my husband a couple pictures using PP and they arrived in an envelope with the letter I had sent that day. He said the quality was great but I agree...99 cents can add up...any chance of running specials or something?

We are listening! And, we appreciate your input so much. Price....we will see what we can to to give a discount for multiples....that takes an IT specialists to program it, so we need some time.....it is the ink, more than the stamp, that hits us hard on $, in addition to the personnel to process and look at the photo to make sure that we see quality in the print..I'm not sure about postage price, will check that...these are printed on heavy and quality paper, yes, you can get at least 4 on one stamp. Five might be stretching it when we add a cover page. And, based upon your great suggestion, we are at least now including that cover page that states...[i]Especially for you.... in color....the envelope has the name and return address., so your loved one does know who is sending...Individualizing an insert with a sender's name at this point, becomes very time consuming, and we are trying to keep our prices low..
With respect to sending multiple copies of the same photo, also, will talk to IT specialists.....it does sound like a hassle! Every person on this Forum to us, has a place of input in making PrisonPaper work for everyone....We may not always put your idea in practice, but it is taken into consideration in all decisions made. |

Linda ~ that's great
Most of our loved ones will know that we are using PP, so just having the "Especially for you.." slip will certainly help - and it may even get passed around inside by the inmate, to drum up more business for PP!

However being from the UK we are used to seeing a TOTAL price which includes VAT at % at checkout before agreeing to pay. I note that this is not so here and the Sales Tax (US) is only added on the bank statements which can comes as a shock.
Can the Sales Tax be added at checkout so that the price to pay is quite clear? I hope that makes sense. Still, thank you from the UK for this service. |

gratton36 ~ I'm in the UK too, and dyscalculic, so having to try and add various sales taxes when I'm in the US is a nightmare! It's something they grow up with so I doubt any changes will be made to accommodate us Brits (or any other countries that include all taxes on the ticket price). Just try to remember to add 10% to whatever it says before you convert to pounds sterling and you should be close.
